Coaches automatically (and necessarily) "watch" the conversations of participants for which they're assigned as Primary Team Member. Coaches may also watch conversations of participants for which they're assigned as Support Team Member, or of participants for which they're not a member of the care team of at all.
If not a primary team member for a participant, a coach may watch that participant's conversation by:
- Being @mentioned into the conversation by another team member or by the participant
- Sending a message in that participant's conversation stream
- Manually selecting "Watching" in the participant's conversation stream
Coaches also have the option to unwatch a conversation that is no longer necessary for them to be a part of. For example, if a coach was monitoring her teammate's panel while her teammate was on vacation, that coach would likely want to unwatch the conversations of those participants when her teammate returns. Alternatively, if a coach was @mentoned into a conversation to provide a specific and time-bound service, that coach might want to leave (or "unwatch") the conversation after the service is complete.
To unwatch a conversation, open the conversation stream for a given participant > click the gear icon at the top of the messenger > select not watching.
